IL FORNAIO - ABOUT US  

Originally Il Fornaio started in the Lombardy region of Italy in 1972. A family of architect's developed the concept and redesigned the art of making and selling Italian Authentic breads. This family then sold the concept of Il Fornaio to bakers in order to save the dying trade of the bakery profession in Milano, which was been hit by larger industrialized bakeries. From here the concept was adapted and exported to America. Il Fornaio is internationally recognized and developed into large scaled bakeries and restaurants and coffee, deli all around the world.

10 years ago Il Fornaio Franchise Concept was introduced to Dublin, Ireland. It is a family run bakery, restaurant and café serving authentic Italian food. Currently in Ireland there are 2 locations Raheny Dublin 5 and IFSC Dublin 1 they can also be found worldwide from Sydney, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, Washington, Oregon, Denver, Switzerland, Rome, Milano, Firenze.

All ingredients used at Il Fornaio are of Premium Quality sourced directly from Italy. We promote a Healthy Authentic Mediterranean Diet, by using no additives and no preservatives in our breads and cooking. Il Fornaio is committed to freshness so every dish is made to order.

Il Fornaio's Bakery offers a variety of Italian breads which are baked in store and are fresh daily.
Our Pizza is hand made and shaped the Italian style way.

Our Deli has a wide range of Italian olives, cooked and cured Italian meats i.e Parma ham and cheeses i.e Parmiggiano Reggiano.
Our Coffees are made with carefully selected roasted beans.
From our restaurant menu our Pasta dishes are made with high quality Italian pasta and freshly made sauces. We offer a selection meat and fish dishes with many side orders like Italian style rosemary potatoes, insalata mista etc.
